We have several different individuals that have been scammed by Mr. Kenneth Clay Fite and would like to hear from anyone who has had dealings with Mr. Fite. He has since changed his company name and uses many different names so be careful if dealing with anyone you are not absolutely sure of and don't send anyone any money until you have recieved the product or products you are having produced. Mr Ken Fite is a snake in the Grass and and changes faces like we do our dirty socks

This is the line of furniture we had ordered and they never arrived

Mr. Kenneth Clay fite deals with many products including
Doors and Windows--Plywood--MDF Board Products--Kitchen Cabinets--Furniture

We ordered furniture from Mr. Ken fite at Summerfield furniture in August 2004 at that time we made a 50% deposit on a container of the Franklin Cherry Pier wall group delivery was supposed to take place in Mid December. Then the saga begins-- We were told the container was involved in ship board fire and was destroyed, would have to be reproduced delivey was to be around Late Feb or March. At that time we informed Mr.Fite to go ahead and build a second container because we nearly had both sold. These two containers (we were told) got held up in customs because the mfg did not pay the tarrifs put on for dumping in early 2005. We were told the mfg would not release the container until we paid and additional $19,000. We wire transfered the money to get the containers released for delivery. We were told again the tarrifs had been paid they would be delivered before the 4th of July. The first of the two containers got to charlotte NC and were involved in a truck accident(we were told the truck driver died) This container would also be reproduced and would arrive in Early december. The other container was put on a truck in Los Angeles and got as far as Memphis and we were told it was most likely stolen by the two men Mr. Fites Brother "RUDY" had paid to deliver the container. December came and went and we still had no container of furniture. Then we got a shocking news stating that Mr. Ken Fite had been attacked on his way to the bank in Hong Kong to refund part of the money to us. He was attacked by two men and stabbed he actually took the knife away from his attackers and killed one of them the other was arrested by police. He had major surgury over 100 stiches and his brother "Lawrence" came into the picture. He traveled to China from seattle to help with kens affairs. Mr. Ken Fite went into a coma and when he came out he had lost all his memory he didn't even know his brother.(we are now in early January 2006). We were told the last container that was produced had arrived in Charlotte by Masrek shipping and would be delivered as soon as the storage fees were paid It is now June and we have no furniture at all and are out all the money we paid to Mr. Ken Fite and had to refund all the deposits we had charged our customers.

We had considered Mr. Ken Fite a friend and had met him on several occasions in High Point NC before he moved to china. We told may times since January that a wire transfer refund would be coming to us for the containers. I will be updating this page with any more information I can get.

Update July 2006

Now we find out That Mr. Ken Fite was never stabbed

We started internet blogs about Mr. Ken fite and this transaction and sent e-mails to K-lam Global trading and to Tradereins trying to find out what was going on. Also to the Costa Rica chamber of commerce where these companies were also listed. Suddenly we got a response from Mr. Ken Fite from the K-lam Global address and he stated he was never stabbed and had been out of china for several months.

That in fact the e-mails were were getting from "Lawrence" Fite we not from his brother but from the factory in china where the furniture was produced. It seams very strange to us that these e-mails contained a lot of information about Mr. Ken Fite that it would be hard for anyone but himself to know what to send.

We received the following e-mail from Tradereins (even thou K-Lam Global trading list Mr. Ken Fite as CEO and gives the Tradereins web site as the K-lam Global link. www.tradereins.com

Our company has received numerous communications from your
organization concerning Mr. Fite with the most recent indicating
that he is the CEO of Trade-Reins. Mr. Fite is not an Officer of
our company and we have no knowledge of the business dealings stated
in your communications. We have forwarded your threatening
intentions to our legal council and have instructed them that we
will not tolerate any type of slander against our company.
You are advised to direct any further correspondence concerning your
issues with Mr. Fite to klamglobal@hotmail.com.
I will be contacting Furniture Today Magazine and should I discover that
you have made any false statements with reference to Trade-Reins then
legal action will be taken against Safriets Furniture and it's officers.

Update Tuesday October 3rd 2006

We were contacted by Mr. Ken Fite in July 2006 saying that he was never stabbed as we were informed and that he had been in Sri Lanka working on a plant destroyed by the Tital wave.

He stated that he thought the furniture had been delivered to us by the factory and that he had been out of the country (China) Since early January. I asked why he had not followed up to make sure the delivery was indeed received by us and he could not give us an answer. All he said that the company that manufactured the furniture had evidently taken his money and not delivered the furniture to us. He said he would send us a full refund within 3 weeks. That was early July. It is now Early October and we have not received the full refund that he has said he would send. We keep getting excuses after excuses at to why we have not received the refund. We were told he would be in the states in September and he would come by the store and apologize to us for all the trouble he has caused with this order. He never showed up in September and we still have not recieved the refund he promised.

In August we did recieve $5000 dollars from his brother who he had asked to help him get the refund to us. I hope his brother has not been swindled out of this money also. We received this in early august and were told the rest of the money ($35,000) would be sent withing 3 weeks. The excuses range from-- he is waiting on payment from other sources-- he will be in the states in September-- We were last told he would have us the full refund no later than September 15th. December 14th 2006
Still no refund from Kenneth Fite--He said he received the funds he was waiting on and would send us the money 10 days ago. E-mail this morning he still had not sent out the refund.
I did receive an email from Mr. Steve Leamon who stated He was president of Tradereins and did not have any knowledge of my dealing with Mr. Ken Fite. He stated Mr. Fite did not own Tradereins and was not the CEO of that company. He did state that he used Mr. Fite's services.
Mr. Fite did list himself as Owner/CEO of K-Lam Global which has www.tradereins listed as their site I guess this ties them in with Tradereins.
Update Jan 30th 2007

Mr. Kenneth Clay Fite told me he sent a check for the refund on Jan 12th 2007 by ETS courier service in China. Delivery should be 5 to 7 business days. It is now Jan 30th and we still have not received the package. Maybe it is me but it is hard to believe all these things can happen to one order of furniture.

1--ship fire burns up container

2--replacement container held up in customs for 3 months

3--That container is destroyed on its way to us in Truck accident

4--2ed container stolen by trucker on its way to us

5--3rd container just disappeared ? was in charlotte in June

6-- 3 containers shipped none ever arrived at our warehouse

7--3 wire transfers or checks sent in last 12 months we never received any

Friday July 13th 2007

Well for the last 3 months now we have been told to expect the refund numerous times with in the next week. For the last month it has been expect a wire transfer in my account within 24 hrs. These 24 hours keep turning into weeks. for example

June 27th --should receive in 24 hrs
June 28th--should receive in 24 hrs
June 29th--payment should post anytime
July 3rd---they found the error and corrected it should post in 24 hrs
July 5th-- should post today withing 24 hrs
July 7th--called our bank and were faxing us the payment confirmation (We have not Received any confirmation )
July 8th --We were told confirmation would be sent to us Monday 9th (has not arrived)
July 10th --Ken fite said he had recieved the confirmation but could not read it
he stated that they had talked to the bank and had no problem with the
transfer ( we still have not received either the confirmation or transfer
July 11th--Ken fite had again received the confirmation and would send it to us and they would be calling my bank again to straighted this out
July12th--- Ken Fite says he is having E-mail issues and can't send confirmation
July17th---Ken Fite says he sent the confirmation by fax it has never arrived neither has the wire transfer

July17th---We got the following e-mail from Mr. Ken Fites Brother Randy (Rudolf) fite concerning the delivery Ken Fite said his brother "Rudy" was taking care of in Nov-Dec 2005:

The following e-mails describe what happened with the shipment from California who Mr. Ken fite says he arranged to have his brother Randy(Rudy) Fite take care of getting the shipment delivered to us. The shipment never arrived. Long after this on July 16th 2007, I was contacted by Mr. Randy Fite (Rudolf Fite) Stating the following:

My name is Rudolf Fite and I have never had any business dealings with my brother Kenneth Clay Fite. I had no knowledge of his business or anything he may be doing. I have never been contacted by Kenny to ship anything or deliver any items to anyone, anywhere, for any reason. As it was indicated in a e-mail, to you or your company. I have not seen or heard from Kenny since my mother passed away a year ago, I don’t think I will see Kenny again.

So this way everyone who may read this web site of yours knows I have had nothing to do with this.
Thanks for sending me Kenny email however he does not return my emails, calls or anything else. I have questioned him about this and he has never answer me or talk with me since so I can only assume this is all true. I have never had a brother with the name of Lawrence. All I can say is Kenny is a piece of work. Hope things are improving for you and your family take care Randy Fite


Mr. Kenneth Clay fite is very good at coming up with excuses and delaying any actions.
