Good Morning Sam. I have received your message. I am back in China now and tomnorrow I will go to the factory and get an update on the order. I was just there about three weeks ago and worked with them on the lights and the switch control position. At that time the product was nearing completion. I think we are probably ready to ship if we in fact have not already done so. I will send another e-mail in a day or two and give you another update. I have also had the factory to coswt the underbed drawer platform you inquired about. I have seen the one on your Web Site and guessed that this or something similar would be what you would want to have in the Cherry. The price is $475.00, which includes the freight. The Summerfield e-mail address is not workjing. The provider has gone out of business. If you have sent an e-mail to me at this address and it kicked back this is why. If you need to contact me you can do so at this address. I am searching for a new provider in the meantime for the Summerfield address. Incidentally who is your provider (Web Host)? Hi Sam. I heard from Spicer about Kimball. It is unbelieveable. We have been closed for the last two days due to a winter storm. Almost three feet of snow. Hi Sam. I checked and was told the Walls should deliver to you the week of 2/18/2005. I will keep a watch on this to make sure we stay with this schedule. Still cannot believe about Kimball. I told Spicer if there is a couple groups that really sold well for him and the other Reps let me know what they were and I can make over here. Take care. Ken

Good Morning Sam. I have been updated. The boat will be docking this week. They will need to clear Customs and then they will make arrangements for the delivery. Good Morning Sam and Debra. Hope you are both doing well. Our ship had some mechanical problems at sea and had to be towed into the Miami Port. I am checking to see if our goods are headed to Savannah by rail or what. Savannah is our Port of entry. Nobody has requested me to change the paperwork to Miami so I am assuming they are moving the goods the balance of the way on land. I am waiting on a response to this and a status. Sam, Good Morning. I am sorry about the long delay. I had to send revised paperwork so that the Customs could be cleared in Miami. I was told otherwise the Container would set until the Ship could sail on to Savannah. I spoke with the Broker this evening (China Time) and they told me that the Container should be delivered no later then the middle of next week. Again I am sorry. It is the first time to use this shipper, and well their performance has left a lot for desire. Have a good day. Ken

Hi Sam. I am waiting to hear from the shipper. I called again today and they told me they are waiting to hear from the Trucker who delivered the container. I am told the empty container has been returned. Sam I do not know what the hell is happening here. Are we sure Valley did not unload this thing and has it confused with something else? I am less then satisfied with this shipper. It is the first time I have used them. They are from over here. Their performance leaves a lot to be desired. I am going to be leaving here in just a couple days to travel back for the Market so I would like to have this settled before I leave because I will be out of touch for a couple days and then I am over there with them over here. I will either e-mail, or depending on the time phone you just as soon as I hear something. Thanks, Ken

Sam, All I have as of right now is that the container has been unloaded. I am still waiting to here where and by who. I am leaving tomorrow for the US. Sam, I am guessing you did not receive my e-mails last week. I found the product. It is in a warehouse in Charlotte. As far as I know it is still there, unless the Freight people have moved it. It is not useable. There was smoke and heat damage to it. The top coat blistered on many of the pieces from a fire that was aboard this freighter. I am having the replacements made. I take it from your e-mail you do not want me to do this. If this is the case let me know right away because they have started the cutting. We are shooting for a ship date of 4/29/05, so let me know quickly. I am in Californai for one day and then I am heading back to China. I will wait to see your e-mail. Thanks, Ken

Sam here is the e-mail I sent last week april 12th
Sam, I looked at the product yesterday and there is some damage. How much I cannot tell. I havenot been told this, but guessing on what I saw there was a fire on this boat. Anyway I will be back at the warehouse today. I will take some photos, and we will open up cartons to look inside and salvage what we can. I have told the factory to prepare to make replacements. I am assuming you will want to do this. They are waiting on my word as to what to make and how many. I do not think I will have a final tally until Wednesday. Sam the replacements will ship in approximately two weeks once I tell them what to make. The freight company will expedite the shipment to the states. I will be in touch. Thanks, Ken

Good Morning Sam. Hope your doing well. Today I am going to Charlotte. The product has been unloaded in a warehouse there. It is my understanding that the container sustained some type of damage while on the ship. I am told it is water and smoke damage. I do not know the extent of what I am going to see. Good Morning Sam. We did not finish yesterday. I ran out of gas. I am still adjusting toi the time change. I have been awake since 2AM this morning, but of course the warehouse is closed at that time. Anyway I am headed back over there today, and we should finish. I have taken some photos that I will e-mail to you once we have completed. I have not found very many undamaged pieces as of yet. There definitely was a fire. You can smell the fire residue. Not much water damage has been found as of yet. I will be in touch. I think your closed today so if I finish I will not try and stop by today. Sam I have spoke with the factory overnight and told them I want the entire order remade and for them to get started. I have also told the freight company. If we find any good pieces out of this it will just be a bonus for you. Talk to you soon. Ken

Hey Ken Thanks for the e mail. We couldn't open the attachment to read tho. Not sure why they wouldn't go through ?? Let us know about the second container when you can. Sam has called all the customers and explained the situation. We are looking at a ship date for the first container to us by what date ? Just so I can relay info to customers. Hi Sam. I am back safely. I will try to get the mirror brackets out yet this week. They will ship by air. I will let you know exadctly what day they go out, and how they went. The two containers will ship on May 8, 2005. They will take about 24 days to reach you. They will come in at the LA Port and travel by rail to NC. I am really sorry about this. But Sam you would have had nothing but complaint with the product. The smoke smell was really bad, and some pieces actually blistered from the heat. Okay, I will be in touch. Ken

Hi Sam. I am waiting to hear from the factory. These replacement brackets were to go out prior to them shutting down for the holiday. They were down last week and today is their first day back. I have sent an e-mail to get an update and I am waiting on an answer. I should be able to tell you tomorrow the status. Sam you said you where in the hospital again. The again caught me by surprise. I did not know you had been in the hospital previously. I hope everything is okay, and it is nothing serious. Take care of yourself. Ken
